What We’re About

  • Monthly Meetings

    Twice a month we meet to talk about photography and share our work. The 1st Wednesday of the month we gather in the studio and on the 3rd Wednesday, we meet online.

  • Photo Critiques

    Members can bring in prints to display and discuss at the in-studio meetings, but prints are not required to attend our meetings. For on-line meetings, members can send in several images ahead of time to present or members can come and attend without sharing images.

  • Photo Outings

    Roadtripping to current photography exhibits and installs along with supporting APP members whose work is featured in group or solo photo shows. Check the calendar for our next outing.

  • Artist in Absentia

    Each meeting, the founder of APP will highlight a past or present photographer whose published body of work is inspiring and remains relevant today.

  • Book Talk

    Photographers bring in photography books to share at meetings and often give a short intro about the book content and the photographer’s perspective and craft.

  • Guest Speakers

    We enjoy having guest speakers with educational storytelling abilities that inspire us. APP members can impart their takeaways, too, from any aspects of their photo craft.

  • Love of Photography

    APP members share a love of photography from analogue-to-digital using vintage, modern techniques to contemporary composites. All viewpoints are welcome.
